The final post

To be honest, this semester went by fairly quickly, and so did English classes (even though I missed a couple, oops) and I must say, I did enjoy them. This was my first and last semester (? of these classes, and I'm so glad I took them. Because in school, I never had classes like these, they were nothing compared with what we did this semester. We were always just reading or doing works that didn't seem to help us with english, instead this year I finally had the chance to speak english more often so I could improve in this, which I didn't have the opportunity to practice a lot in school, and I was shy about it. Writing the posts was also great, I really like writing and some times there were really interesting themes. But there are two special ones that I really enjoyed writing. The one about movies, and the one about dogs. What can I say? My absolutely two favorite things in the world. The one about movies, because I never before wrote about movies, or why did I liked/e

PARIS

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to go out of the country how I would like to, I’ve only been out once and I went to Argentina, which is not far from here and not that different to Chile. Given this, there are many countries I would absolutely love to go to, but when it comes to cities, it’s not something I have think of. I usually just like a country in general for what I can see on the internet, in pictures or what people says of these places. But Paris is the one city that I’ve always heard of on television or seen on movies (like Midnight in Paris!! I love that movie), and it’s just wonderful. Everyone knows it’s a beautiful city, and you would be lying if you say that you’re not interested on going there. If I go there, I would like to go around and maybe walk next to the Seine River and just admire everything this city has to give. For what I’ve seen, every place it’s just as amazing as the one that’s next to it. Obviously though, if I ever go there, I HAVE to visit The Lo

A special meal

It’s hard for me to think of one very special meal, mainly because there hasn’t been a huge celebration, or any that’s more important than the rest. The one I’m thinking of, it definitely wasn’t a big celebration, any birthday or special occasion, it was one meal of when my family and I made the trip to the south of Chile. We were traveling on a motor home, so most of our meals were inside the motor home, but the very first one, was the most special one. The night before, we parked in a gas station and slept there, and so the next morning we had to take breakfast. I remember it was the most complicated thing at first, since it was our first time doing that, not like it’s something completely out of the world, but we were six and there wasn’t too much space to move around. My dad went out to buy some food, something like cakes I think since we were already prepared and had bread and everything to put in it, and my mom went to get water so we could boil it and drink tea. I

DOGS

Dogs have always been called the men best friend, and it couldn't be more right, but for me, they are so much more than that. And as a dog owner (and lover) myself, I have experienced my whole life what is like to have a dog by your side and to love them deeply. So in this post, I'll write about dogs that I've owned. My very first dog was ''Tunga'', he was a crossbreed (of breeds I don't know) and he was quite small, but man, he was a fighter. He used to live more in the streets than in our home, but he always returned at night. I was too little when he passed away, but I know my family suffered a lot with his death, because he was just a great dog. There were another dogs in between, I believe so, (not sure if before or after the one I'm about to tell you), but they, for reasons I'm unaware of, they didn't live too long in our home.  Then came ''Tomy'', which we loved, but caused a lot of problems. He wa

A good friend of mine

A good friend of mine is Isidora. I met her when we were in kindergarten and we were like 5-6 years old. It’s hard for me to remember the very first day I met her, but I do know we’ve been friends ever since. We studied in the same school and in the same classes for 11 years, and then in 3ro medio, we split up. She went to the Humanist elective and I, to the Math elective. I remember being in school and singing with her some Katy Perry songs out loud when we were 12-13 years old. Or when we were younger, playing in the dirt with some tree leaves and water. I like her ‘cause we’ve always liked the same things (the same stupid things, I may say), we both share the love for movies and series, for books, for some music, and most importantly, art. Since we finished school, we haven’t seen each other that much, but when we do, we do the simplest things. We hang out to watch a movie, to walk, or go to expositions, or just being in any of our homes and lay in the couch and talk an
