Infinite 160116

The second concert I’ve ever assisted to, has to be the best one among the two, and it was Infinite’s concert in January 16th, 2016.
Infinite is a korean pop group originaly composed by 7 members (but now there's only 6 of them since one left) and is one of these boybands that can dance (specially Infinite, is known for being one of the best groups at dancing and synchronization)  and sing and basically do everything lol (you might have heard of kpop, recently it has become very popular). They are basically one of the first kpop groups I liked since 2013, so, when I knew they were coming here I was freaking out. Given the fact that kpop wasn’t that popular back then, it was almost impossible to think some korean people would even think on coming here to Chile. But it did happen, and I couldn’t be any more happier.
The tickets were pretty much cheap compared to another concerts I’ve wanted to go, but couldn’t ‘cause they were to pricey for my poor soul. So my mom bought the tickets for me and my sister.
I remember going that day to the Teatro Caupolicán (where the concert would be) and the waiting was the worst. Obviously, first, due to my exciment to see them, and secondly, ‘cause that days was way to hot and we were waiting in this endless line under the sun. But afterall it was all rewarded just by seeing them perform.
It was one of the best experiences of my life, I enjoyed a lot, sang all the songs along, and even cried at the end. And I will always remember it because they were the first kpop group I got to see in person.

Here’s a photo of the ending, and you can see I was pretty close to the stage (even though the Teatro Caupolicán isn’t that big) so I can’t complain!

  1. That's so awesome! I didn't think you liked K-pop. Lately I've been getting into that kind of music, but I'm still new in all this.
    Good photo by the way!

DOGS

Dogs have always been called the men best friend, and it couldn't be more right, but for me, they are so much more than that. And as a dog owner (and lover) myself, I have experienced my whole life what is like to have a dog by your side and to love them deeply. So in this post, I'll write about dogs that I've owned. My very first dog was ''Tunga'', he was a crossbreed (of breeds I don't know) and he was quite small, but man, he was a fighter. He used to live more in the streets than in our home, but he always returned at night. I was too little when he passed away, but I know my family suffered a lot with his death, because he was just a great dog. There were another dogs in between, I believe so, (not sure if before or after the one I'm about to tell you), but they, for reasons I'm unaware of, they didn't live too long in our home.  Then came ''Tomy'', which we loved, but caused a lot of problems. He wa...

A special meal

It’s hard for me to think of one very special meal, mainly because there hasn’t been a huge celebration, or any that’s more important than the rest. The one I’m thinking of, it definitely wasn’t a big celebration, any birthday or special occasion, it was one meal of when my family and I made the trip to the south of Chile. We were traveling on a motor home, so most of our meals were inside the motor home, but the very first one, was the most special one. The night before, we parked in a gas station and slept there, and so the next morning we had to take breakfast. I remember it was the most complicated thing at first, since it was our first time doing that, not like it’s something completely out of the world, but we were six and there wasn’t too much space to move around. My dad went out to buy some food, something like cakes I think since we were already prepared and had bread and everything to put in it, and my mom went to get water so we could boil it and drink tea. I ...

Fiestas Patrias

I’ve always been eager for Fiestas Patrias, mainly because I get to rest (which for me is just laying on my bed not thinking of all the things I have to do) and sleep a lot. And also because everyone is extremely happy during this time (maybe due to the alcohol haha) and that makes me happy too. This year, I spent it more with my family. We went over my grandma and ate everything we could, specially ‘’empanadas’’ that she always makes, they are no doubt the best I’ve ever eaten. We went to the trustworthy Fonda in Parque O’Higgins, which is always good and well organized, so you can’t get lost and there’s about everything there, from food to drinks to handmade crafts. The only problem is that it was overcrowded (like always), but besides that it was great I also went to another Fonda near where I live in Maipú, and honestly It was so boring and I was a little bit tired too, and I only wanted to go home. To make it even worse, there was way, way too many people there, you c...
