IT

Last weekend I went to see ‘’It’’ to the cinema in Costanera Center with some friends.
To start, it was a chaos to be able to meet up all the six of us. We set an hour to gather in the subway, we said ‘’Let’s meet up there at 11:00-11:30’’, and so we did. Some arrived there at 11:00 and others nearly 12:00, so some of us had to wait almost an hour there! And the movie was at 12:00!! And obviously, there was still one of us who hadn’t got there yet, and worst, he didn’t have a chip on his phone, so he couldn’t receive or make calls and we weren’t able to contact him. By the time it was already 12:00, but luckily there was another cinema show at 12:40, but we still had to hurry, because we needed to buy the tickets and some food. So we were there, at 12:25 with no tickets and no food and only 5 of us. We finally decided to just go to the cinema, we thought that maybe the one who hadn’t arrived yet was in his way, or worse, in his home peacefully sleeping.
We got there, and suddenly, we received a message from him, saying he was on his way there. So we bought 6 tickets (and they were incredible cheap, considering it was one day after the release of the movie) and some food too. And out of nowhere, he appeared there and we were able to enter to see the movie.
As for the movie, it was amazing. I really, really loved it. It wasn’t too scary, but it still had something special (that I still can’t describe) that hooked you up to it. I was amazed by the performance of Bill Skarsgård, who plays ‘’It’’, and from the kids, they did amazing and too and they’re only 13-15 years old, and they are already such talented actors. And I know there has been some opinion differing between the ones who loved it and the ones who hated it, but if you want to know, you have to see it, I’m pretty sure you won’t regret it. As for me, I would watch it again.
So, to sum up, after all the problems of meeting, I had a great time, the movie was good, the food was good, everything was great. I really love going to the cinema, to watch movies and I enjoyed that day.

  1. It looks like a great movie! I hope I can watch it soon (and be on the "I loved it" side xd)
Someone is always late when you are trying to gather with friends, is like a curse or something xd

A family photo

In this photo I was probably only like a few months old, so it was taken in about 1999 or 2000 in our home, in which today is the living and used to be the dining room. And there’s my dad hugging us all and being happy for a photo that he couldn’t guess was going to be an old memory of easier times. My brother Carlos in his back laughing at his own joke (like usually) and what it seems like half of a tooth less. In the left side is my sister Jessica with blonde, long hair now gone ‘cause she likes to have it really short and to dye it. And then there’s me, with barely one year old, or less, not knowing what’s going on or what I’m doing there, like every baby who’s just discovering life. I can only guess my mom was taking the photo, so that explains why she’s not there. But even though she’s not (which could of have made this photo even better), I still love this picture. Me and brothers take pics of the three of us all the time, but we don’t have that many with our parents, so ev...

Music

Author’s note: The title might make you think this is gonna be me talking about my favorite groups/singers, whatever, but no. It’s more like a reflection¿? for myself, not that much, but anyways…) This is a subjet I don’t commonly talk about so easily. Mainly, ‘cause I’ve been my whole life  (stupidly) afraid of what people could think or say of me, of what i like/hear. And I know it’s stupid, but you know, insecurities :’) With that said, today i’d like to write about how I go when it comes to music. I’m usually open to anything, I really don’t care what type is, or in what language it is. If i like it, that’s enough for me to save it on a playlist on Spotify. BUT , I must say, the only thing I don’t like it’s ‘’reggaeton’’, it just doesn’t go with me. My playlists can go from punk rock to today’s pop hits. And it’s due to my constant wanting of discovering new music, with the help of Youtube, Spotify and movie/series i’ve seen. I can spend hours and hours on Youtub...

The final post

To be honest, this semester went by fairly quickly, and so did English classes (even though I missed a couple, oops) and I must say, I did enjoy them. This was my first and last semester (? of these classes, and I'm so glad I took them. Because in school, I never had classes like these, they were nothing compared with what we did this semester. We were always just reading or doing works that didn't seem to help us with english, instead this year I finally had the chance to speak english more often so I could improve in this, which I didn't have the opportunity to practice a lot in school, and I was shy about it. Writing the posts was also great, I really like writing and some times there were really interesting themes. But there are two special ones that I really enjoyed writing. The one about movies, and the one about dogs. What can I say? My absolutely two favorite things in the world. The one about movies, because I never before wrote about movies, or why did I liked/e...
